Received from Your Contestants Back to Your Ministry
WinACrown was born through obedience to the Lord. Our sights are set on changing the manner in which people view pageantry. Now, in our 7 th year, ours is a pageant system used as a vehicle to build confidence, develop articulation and empower young women to always strive for perfection. The WinACrown mission and goal is to produce quality pageants and competitions and offer college scholarships. Our contestants learn many skills, all of which will help them throughout their lives. Our commitment first begins with our obedience to God. After that, everything else follows.
We began this venture as an answer to equip our young ladies with the opportunity to enjoy local and national titles at affordable prices. We are simply seeking to elevate the opportunity for all young women so their chance of attainment is reachable and so that they are taught how to properly manage and seek resources to help them achieve their goals. Winners receive cash scholarships paid to the institution they attend and Cheyney University provides their Keystone Scholarship worth $43,000.00 for one of our contestants.
WinACrown Will Sow into Your Ministry
WinACrown is honored to be in the position to give back what God has blessed us with. Therefore, as a member of The Church Program , we at WinACrown, would promote your ministry through both local and national media; list you as a
“sponsor” on the WinACrown website as well as advertising your ministry in all of our pageant program books for one full year. Additionally, but more importantly, WinACrown will donate to your ministry 10% of the fully paid registration fee from each young lady who are members of your congregation. Registration/Entry Fee is $400 for National Miss Black Teen and $175 for entry into the Miss Pittsburgh Competitions.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS
Once your young lady has completed the application process and has paid her entry fee (which includes her registration fee) in full, then WinACrown, with the assistance of certified public accountants, will donate to your ministry 10% of the total fee. For example, if within your congregation, you have 5 young ladies who are interested in competing in a WinACrown Pageant Production and all 5 of them have completed the application process and have paid their entry fee IN FULL , then WinACrown would sow 10% of the total of all 5 contenders back to you. Entering the WinACrown Pageant System begins at the Regional Level for National Miss Black Teen contestants and at the Local Level for Miss Pittsburgh contestants, with each pageant advancing to a final round. When and if your contestant advances to the semi-finals and finals held in 2006, she will win cash and WinACrown will sow matching funds into your ministry.
